Born in the United States but raised in Shanghai, Nathan Tung is a Cinematographer, filmmaker, and photographer with an eye for diversity in visual storytelling. From photographs to curated films, he strives to tell stories that have a profound meaning to him whenever he gets the chance.

He graduated from Chapman University with a Master’s degree in Cinematography; since then he has been mentored by world-class cinematographer Johnny Jensen, ASC. Since getting out of school he has worked on various projects from Feature Films to Documentaries.

On top of being a Cinematographer, Nathan is also a skilled photographer and loves to take photographs during his downtime. He enjoys using photographs to tell stories and showcase the beauty of this world we live in.
